Our Team

Dr Gregory Chang

Greg graduated from The Dental School of Western Australia in 1993.  His first work placement was in the Pilbara for 2.5 years prior to returning to the metropolitan area. Along his journey, he has worked in the Warwick Government Dental clinic and many private dental practices spanning from Joondalup to Gosnells.

In 2002, Greg started his own practice in Alexander Heights – The Heights Laser Dental Centre – and in 2021, he started Hepburn Heights Dental Centre. After 21yrs of growth and ownership of the Alexander Heights location, Greg sold it in December 2023. Today, you will find him solely operating from Hepburn Heights Dental Centre.

Greg truly believes a happy work environment creates happiness in my day. His focus has always been to deliver general dentistry that the patient wants. In the event that Greg is unable to provide the treatment, he has built up a specialist referral base to help patients receive the right treatment. Effective communication is key to get a better understanding of what my patient wants.  Armed with that knowledge, radiographic and clinical imaging, it creates a good base to plan an outcome that is unique to my individual patients.

Greg is very active in the dental profession with numerous memberships:

  • The Dental Study Group of WA (2004 onwards) – the oldest and most prestigious dental study group in WA est 1954. I have served on the committee for several years and was honoured to be the President in 2012.
  • Australian Dental Association (1994 onwards).
  • Periodontal Society of WA (2000 onwards).
  • Prosthodontic Society of WA (2002 onwards).
  • ITI (implant) Study Groups (2002 onwards).

Aside from his practice, Greg has a loving partner of 18 years and four daughters. Their children attend the Duncraig campus of St Stephen’s School which is near the Hepburn Heights Dental Centre. Their extra-curricular activities keep both parents busy!
