Frequently
Asked Questions

Answers to questions that make your next visit easier.
We understand most people have questions before booking a dental appointment, especially if it’s been a while. This page brings together the most common things our patients ask, from how appointments work to why a crown might be needed.
If you still need support, just call us, we’re here to help.
Your Appointment
Why do I need to see the dentist regularly?
Teeth do a lot; they help you eat, speak, smile, and support the shape of your face. Like servicing your car, a dental check-up every six months helps keep everything running smoothly. Regular visits let us catch minor issues before they turn into big problems.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online 24/7 or call our front office on (08) 9448 0804 or email us at info@mydentist.net.au. We’ll help you find a time that works for you.
Is your clinic wheelchair accessible?
Yes. We have step-free access, dedicated parking, and a supportive team ready to help in any way we can.
Do you accept health funds and Medicare benefits?
Yes, we accept all health funds and are preferred providers for HBF, HCF, NIB, CBHS, and others. This may result in higher rebates on eligible treatments. Just bring your card with you, and we can process your claim on the spot.
We’re also registered under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) to treat eligible children and provide dental services for Department of Veterans’ Affairs patients.
Do you accept patients from Dental Health Services (DHS)?
Yes, we can treat eligible patients through Dental Health Services. If you receive an income from Centrelink, you may be entitled to emergency or general dental treatment through this program.
To access care, you’ll need a valid form issued by a DHS clinic, such as Morley, Warwick or Joondalup. A small fee is payable as determined by the issuing clinic.
Do you treat children?
Yes, we offer family dental care in Padbury. Learn more on our General Dentistry page.
